Ipas Project - Summary
This project is intended to contribute towards the efforts being carried out in Northern Ethiopia as response to conflict impacts within selected Weredas of North Wello( Lasta, Lalibela town, Gidan and Wadila) to empower women and girls in conflict affected areas of the region to take control of their reproductive health choices and strengthen SRHR linkage.
Specifically, the project strengthened the level of awareness through refreshing 70 HEWs and10 volunteers that will be activated in IDP centers and urban areas. Further it strengthen service referral linkages for SRHR service needs with nearby health facilities and for 2000 women and girls and giving awareness raising education to 6000 community. Beneficiaries of the program in North Wello of four Weredas are women particularly victims of SGBV, host communities and IDPs that need services like psychosocial and medical help.
